Natural Resources

The Theme:
Sharing the Planet: An inquiry into rights and responsibilities in the struggle to share finite resources with other people and with other living things.

The Central Idea:
Our use of natural resources effects people and the planet.

This is an inquiry into…

  • Renewable, nonrenewable and limited natural resources.
What kinds of natural resources last forever?
  • The negative effects of overuse of natural resources.
How do we share natural resources?
  • Choices that support a sustainable planet.
What choices can we make to support a sustainable planet?
